At Fetterhund Motorsports, we are passionate about the world of motorsports and strongly believe that the dream of becoming a race car driver should be within reach for everyone. Over the years, we have had the privilege of being the first stop for several aspiring drivers on their wheel-to-wheel racing journeys.

The Shift Up Now Foundation is dedicated to empowering female athletes in motorsports by providing essential funding and access to high-quality equipment and resources. Their mission is vital as it shines a spotlight on competitive female racers who are relentlessly chasing their dreams of success on the racetrack.

Did you know that female athletes across all sports receive less than 10% of the global sports sponsorship spend?

In motorsports, where opportunity is often reliant on sponsorship, this funding deficit leads to less female athletes having the opportunity to rise to the highest levels of the sport. Shift Up Now is an organization working to help find the funding, partners and sponsorship for female athletes to continue competing at professional and semi-professional levels in motorsport. This significant disparity creates a high barrier to entry and makes it exceedingly difficult for female racers to obtain the competitive tools and resources they need to excel and win.

The Shift Up Now Foundation writes sponsorship grants for racers to help them cover holes in their budgets, to help racers be in better equipment, to help racers have more practice time, to help racers have coaching, and to help them have the opportunities to succeed. 

At Fetterhund Motorsports, we understand firsthand how challenging it is to run a racing program, even at the club level. Our passion for this incredible sport fuels our commitment to supporting the Shift Up Now Foundation's impactful mission.
